The whole inventory

Two things. Aggregate traffic measurement, meaning which entries get read, roughly where from, and on what kind of device, none of it tied to a person. And any message you send us, together with the address it arrived from, kept so a reply can be written. There is no third item.

Things we will never request

Banking details, identity documents, casino logins, social security numbers. None of it is useful to us and holding it would be a liability we have no reason to accept. If a message claiming to be from this site ever asks for any of it, the message is not from us.

What the data is used for

Traffic figures tell us which ledger entries readers actually open, which determines what we re-audit next quarter. Correspondence is kept so a conversation can continue past one message. Nothing is profiled, nothing is scored, and nothing is offered for sale, rent or exchange to any party at any price.

Where it leaves our hands

Two places. The analytics provider, operating under its own policy, and any operator you reach through an outbound link, which begins collecting under its own notice the moment you arrive. We cannot see inside either and we do not receive reader-level data back from them.

Exercising your choices

Write and ask what is held against your address and we will tell you. Ask for it to be erased and it will be, without a form or a reason. Ask us not to contact you again and we will not. Tracking preferences live in your browser and in the cookie notice.
