The closed jurisdiction

Washington. No brand in this ledger registers account holders there and none is attempting to route around the restriction. State law treats online play far more severely than anywhere else in the country and operators have concluded the exposure is not worth carrying. The account will not open.

The four partial jurisdictions

Idaho, Michigan, Montana and Nevada fall into a grey band where operators reach their own conclusions individually. One brand will register you and the next will decline. Where an operator publishes an exclusion we record it in the entry, but the brand rulebook is the only document that resolves it.

The remainder

Broadly covered, with age as the controlling gate. Eighteen is the standard minimum and a handful of operators apply twenty-one whatever local law permits. Confirm the threshold before completing a registration rather than after.

Location verification

Geolocation runs at registration and again at filing. Circumventing it through a virtual private network breaches the terms at every brand we have audited, and the usual result is a closed account with the balance still inside. That balance is not settled.

A necessary caveat

We keep records rather than practise law, and promotional law does not stand still. Use this page to orient and the operator rulebook to decide. An operator accepting your registration has formed its own view of your state, which is the only view with any standing.
